Dynamic Island
Glance to check. Tap once to log a drink. The island cycles through all three presentations below, the same way iOS does as you move between apps.

The ring and the figure, split around the camera. Each side is sized to its content, so the pill does not lean.
Long-press, and the button is there. Tap +250 ml and the total moves under your finger.
The Dynamic Island needs iPhone 14 Pro or later. On every other iPhone running iOS 16.2 or later the same activity appears on the Lock Screen.

Lock Screen
The countdown is driven by the system, not by the app, so it stays honest whether you are in another app, on the Lock Screen, or have not opened Habit-Check since breakfast.
Hydration
The vessel is a hexagon because the honeycomb is the app's one shape, and this is the screen you open most. Two offset sine waves drift at different speeds, so the surface never repeats in a way your eye can catch.
Every drink lands in your log with the time you actually tapped — including the ones logged from the island without opening the app.

Fasting
Primary sources, in the app, on every phase — Cahill 2006, Klein 1993, Owen et al. Where a popular claim outruns the human evidence, the app says so rather than repeating it. The “autophagy starts at hour 16” figure is one of those.
Habits, tasks, focus
Each cell is a day. Tap to fill it. The grid is the whole interface — no streak-shaming, no notifications you did not ask for.
No account. No cloud. No analytics. No ads. Your habits, your fasts and your water log never leave the device they were entered on.
